The Hurtta story began with our personal need and desire to protect our dogs from the cold and ever-changing, extreme conditions of the North. Originally, we were clothing industry professionals, and we were determined to make functional products for our own dogs while also developing a range of functional dog gear globally. The Hurtta Half-Choke collar is intended for adult dogs. Thanks to the safety lock mechanism on the clip buckle collar, stress caused by pulling is not placed on the buckle, making the collar safer to use. The half-choke collar is also well suited to daily walks when you may need to control the dog in emergencies. 3M reflectors help keep your dog visible at night.
The half-choke collar should be just the right size for the dog. The collar is the right size when it fits over the dog's head, but is firmly placed around the dog's neck when pulling on the leash.
